Qatar Airways to resume outbound flights from SA

Qatar Airways will resume carrying outbound passengers from South Africa from 13 January.
This after suspending outbound operations following the discovery of Omicron in November last year.
The airline says it will resume daily services from Johannesburg and Cape Town.
But travellers will only be allowed to transit through Hamad International Airport.
Emirates recently extended its flight suspensions, which was due to lapse at the end of 2021. Etihad is only expected to resume its operations in February.
