Purpose of the Job:

To verify and repair measuring instruments to conform to all statutory requirements.

Essential Requirements:

The successful candidate must have Matric, be a qualified electrician or hold an N2 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
Minimum two (2) to three (3) years forecourt Pump dispenser maintenance experience.
VO Certificate.
Valid code 08 or 10 drivers’ licence.

Technical Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Verification measuring instruments within the scope of accreditation for trade use and issuing of verification certificate to that effect.
Performance of repair work according to set standards.

Quality of service:

Maintenance of van stocks/tools and equipment.
Timeous response to customer calls.
Communications with customers and control office.

Procedures:

Adherence and compliance to procedures as per SABS 0259 Quality Assurance Manual (Policy, Procedures and Test Procedures Manual).
Submission of relevant reports and other associated documents.

Public Relations/Marketing:

Maintenance of cordial customer relationships.
