ConCourt rules in government’s favour on public sector wages

The Constitutional Court has dismissed Nehawu’s application to appeal a 2018 public sector salary ruling.

The Labour Court previously ruled the government did not have to abide by the 2018 multi-year deal.

The government took the matter to court after saying it can’t afford any hikes.
