Essential workers return to work following Public Sector strike

National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union affiliated essential service workers are back after a six-day strike.

They have been fighting for a 10% wage hike.

Their return follows the judgment by the labour court on Monday.

But non-essential workers are continuing the strike while they wait for direction from the union leadership.
