POSITION AVAILABLE: PUBLIC RELATIONS & GROWER LIAISON MANAGER
AREA: NELSPRUIT
Purpose:
The Public Relations Manager and Grower Liaison will help maintain and manage the
company’s corporate image and communications through numerous mediums.
Responsibilities:
Identify, contact and procure (contract) products from current and new growers within Southern Africa.
Communicate and interact with media, grower associations and other interested parties.
Organize events (grower, media and general public).
Engage and work with the Receivals Manager with regards to current and additional procurement (new growers).
Reports directly to the General Manager
Characteristics:
Ideal candidate will be based in the Nelspruit region and must be willing to travel locally and internationally as required.
Have local and international experience and knowledge with respect to the specific product & procurement.
Be outgoing and be able to engage with growers of all sizes and origins.
Be able to work overseeing a team of officers.
Hard working, motivated and independent with an outgoing personality.
