Buffalo City Municipality issues stern warning to residents over protest action

The Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality’s buildings have been a hive of activity lately with residents embarking on protest action to vent out their frustrations over a myriad of service delivery issues.

Municipal authorities say the recent protest at its City Hall was not approved by its security cluster and that some of the protests were uncalled for.

Many residents say they have problems that have been unresolved for many years.

Authorities in the Metro say they have been attending to many of the complaints.

But they have also urged communities not to be involved in unnecessary protests that could hinder service delivery.

The municipality has also asked residents to constantly remind them of any problems that they may face as it is the BCMM’s responsibility to resolve them.
