Prophet Mboro gives away his Chrysler – Photos

For the past 10 years, Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng has created special memories in his silver SRT Chrysler. And this wasn’t just a car, he used it to shine on special occasions and described it as a “status car”.

But on Sunday, 17 October, he kissed his much loved luxury car goodbye after he gave it away to one of his congregants.Prophet Mboro1

Mboro said this was by far the greatest offering he has ever done for God. “God only deserves the best,” said Mboro.

He gave the car to Jerminah Beya (52), who was selected in a draw held by Mboro’s church, Incredible Happenings Ministry.

The church embarked on an initiative called Gideon Generation following the Covid-19 outbreak.

Members of the church raised funds through contributions from as little as R200 to help improve the church in order to reach more people in dire need.Prophet Mboro2

The church said more than 400 congregants took part.

During yesterday’s church service, small papers containing names were put in a glass bowl vase on the table. Mboro prayed before his grandson Mohlodi (2), picked out the name and Jerminah was announced the winner.

Jerminah had gone to the church all the way from Springs to Katlehong in Ekurhuleni using taxis. Congregants gathered outside as Mboro handed her the car keys to Jerminah.

In a shaky voice, Jerminah said: “I’m very happy that I’m returning home in a car.”

Sharing her story, Jerminah said she’s a middle child and all her family members came to her whenever they faced struggles.

She said her relatives survived deadly diseases, including cancer, through prayers.

“I go to the bushes and pray.

“Today I saw God. I’ve always contributed to the church even when I don’t have money or gold to offer. My job does not pay well, but I’ve always looked up to God and today I’m holding car keys,” said Jerminah.

Mboro said he was worried that his car might land in the hands of a drunkard, and prayed that the winner should be someone who represents the kingdom of God.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Mboro said he intended to also give away his BMW i8 on his birthday in April next year.

He said God spoke to him on 26 August. He said: “My car is very close to my heart. I refer to it as a heritage car because it carries wonderful memories. I don’t use it daily, but only to shine.

“I’m giving away this precious gift as part of my contribution towards the initiative and a sacrifice to God. God is everything and members of the church will also be rewarded by God,” he said.

Mboro said the church intended to return to TV production with the money raised.
