Elton Jantjies appears in court on property damage charges

Springbok flyhalf Elton Jantjies appeared briefly in the Kempton Park magistrate’s court on Friday morning to answer to malicious damage to property charges.

Jantjies is accused of damaging equipment after an incident on board a flight from Dubai to Johannesburg last month.

The case has been postponed to 17 June.

While details about the incident remain unclear, Jantjies’ agent says it’s been blown out of proportion.
