Prof Jonathan Moyo asks Ramaphosa for help

Exiled Former G40 Kingpin Professor Jonathan Moyo has appealed to South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene in the violent crackdown on unarmed citizens by members of the security forces in Zimbabwe.

In a Twitter post addressed to Ramaphosa on Tuesday Moyo said, “Your Excellency President Cyril Ramaphosa please leader, lead on this major geopolitical issue tragically unfolding in your backyard. The Gukurahundic ramifications of Army atrocities in Zimbabwe are ghastly and a blight on SADC. Don’t let history judge you harshly Cde President.”

President Ramaphosa recently appealed to the United States of America and its Western allies to remove sanctions on Zimbabwe so that countries like South Africa can be able to assist Zimbabwe in turning around its economic fortunes.

Responding to Professor Moyo self-styled journalis Mkhululi Chimoio said,” Why must His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa be the one to stand with bloody colonisers? Why not also tell the President on your evil history while growing your stomach along Mugabe? Did you tell him that the journalist (Itai Dzamara) you abducted is still missing?”

Meanwhile the Federal Leader of the Democratic Alliance Mmusi Maimane is set to land in the country to consult with MDC leader Nelson Chamisa, Tendai Biti and civic society leaders before reporting President Emmerson Mnangagwa to the United Nations and the International Criminal Court.
