The search for Facebook rapist Thabo Bester continues. Concerns on whether he’s fled the country are mounting. eNCA understands that police are now working with private security companies to apprehend him.
Agencies like Fidelity ADT have offered a R100,000 cash reward for information that will lead to Bester’s arrest.
In May 2022, Bester faked his own death and escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre. The Correctional Services Department has now taken over operations at the prison.
