Jacob Zuma calls for the private prosecution of Adv. Billy Downer

Former president Jacob Zuma is calling for the private prosecution of Advocate Billy Downer as he prepares to appear in court on Monday.

Zuma alleges that Downer leaked vital information to the media.

His foundation held an update about his corruption case.

Zuma faces multiple charges of fraud and corruption alongside French arms dealer Thales.

This is over the controversial multi-billion rand arms deal struck back in the 1990s.
