Prince Kaybee is disappointed that he didn’t make it to #GlobalCitizenFestivalSA

The Global Citizen Festival was the biggest music event to hit our shores for over a decade, and if you weren’t there on the night, we’ll forgive you for feeling a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out).

From the looks of things, even some of our biggest artists felt a little sad after missing out on a concert which saw some of Africa and indeed the world’s finest talents on stage.

Prince Kaybee

One artist who really wanted to be there is DJ, Prince Kaybee, who expressed his deep disappointment at not making the lineup. In the end, Cassper Nyovest, Black Coffee and Sho Madjozi were the only lead performers on the Global Citizen roster, but Prince Kaybee really wanted to be the fourth local act on the bill.

The disappointed DJ took to Twitter to write:

Many felt as if the DJ was being too harsh on himself. After all, fans could probably name a few major South African artists who also deserved a chance to perform at the festival which was broadcast in 180 countries. This was a point that Lerato Kganyago made in an attempt to cheer him up

It’s only a matter of time before he gets his big shot at a show like this, but for now, we stan a gifted and successful Prince. Cheer up, Kaybee!
