President Cyril Ramaphosa wants to clear his name

ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa wants to appear before the party’s integrity committee.

This to clear his name over corruption allegations levelled against him by some of his comrades.

President Cyril Ramaphosa

Ramaphosa told the ANC National Executive Committee that he will write to the committee to explain the funding of the CR17 campaign, that secured him the ANC presidency in 2017.

Political analyst Karima Brown believes that Ramaphosa’s decision to appear before party’s integrity committee will likely put ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule in a tight corner.
