President Cyril Ramaphosa wishes Bafana Bafana success in AFCON clash with Morocco

President Cyril Ramaphosa has wished Bafana Bafana all the best ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations match against African giants Morocco, in San Pedro, Cote d’Ivoire, this Tuesday evening.

Bafana Bafana are ranked 66th while Morocco are 13th in the world ranking. A victory will see either team reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

Ramaphosa says a win could see them bring the Cup home. ” I would like to send them a good luck message … They will be able to bring the Cup back home. So, good luck to the boys!”
Some soccer lovers in Polokwane, Limpopo, have wished the national soccer team well in their African Cup of Nations knock-out match.

Fans say they are behind Bafana Bafana. One fan claims, “The way South Africa started with Percy Tau missing the penalty and we lost the game, then we came back and won the second match. Let’s just put all our hope to God that South Africa wins today’s game so that the world can see that we can also compete. …”

“The way I see it Bafana Bafana will win just a few early shots on target will be enough to take them through,” says another supporter.
