I refuse to be bullied by anyone – President Cyril Ramaphosa speaks out

President Cyril Ramaphosa says he’s cooperating with law enforcement agencies on an investigation into the theft of money at his Phala Phala farm and refuses to be distracted, intimidated or bullied into submission to leave his job as the country’s first citizen. Ramaphosa delivered the keynote address at the SACP elective conference in his capacity as ANC President.

“I have pledged my full cooperation to the investigation process that is underway,” Ramaphosa said. I am prepared to be held accountable. I opted of my own volition to appear before the Integrity Commission.” Ramaphosa said a date will be finalised for a meeting.

“I would like to say I will not allow these allegations to deter me from what needs to be done, to rebuild our economy. I will not allow this to deter me, to discourage me from the work that I have to do. I will not be intimidated, nor distracted, nor bullied into submission.
