
The Pretoria High Court ruled on Tuesday that President Cyril Ramaphosa’s CR17 bank records will remain sealed.
The EFF wanted the funders of Ramaphosa’s 2017 ANC campaign to be made public. The case has been dismissed with costs.
The EFF argued that sealing the statements is inconsistent with the rules around openness, and wanted to identify the flow of money between private individuals to the ruling party.
