President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation about the coronavirus pandemic.

Various ministers met with the president on Sunday in an effort to solidify a strategy to curb the spread of the virus.

Currently, in South Africa there are 240 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Worldwide, that figure has surpassed the 308,000 mark.
