The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says President Cyril Ramaphosa must respond to the Phala Phala farm theft allegations levelled against him.
This is after plans by the Public Protector to subpoena Ramaphosa after he missed a deadline to appear before them. This is in order to explain aspects of the Phala Phala farm robbery in February 2020.
KZN Provincial Secretary Mdumiseni Ntuli says if Ramaphosa does not do this, it will damage his reputation as the country’s leader.
