Fewer returning for second jab in KZN, says Premier Zikalala

Young people in KwaZulu-Natal are not returning for a second Covid-19 jab.

Premier Sihle Zikalala says this is concerning.

He is urging the youth to ensure they get fully vaccinated.

“We ask our young people who have received their first dose of Pfizer to come back for their shot,” he said.

Cases have been rising sharply in recent days.

The province has jumped to a 12.7 percent positivity rate.
