Orange Farm community prays for children

A dark cloud is hanging over the Orange Farm community, south of Johannesburg.
A prayer session has been held following the disappearance and murders of numerous children over the past year.
The Gauteng Community Safety Department gathered along with religious leaders to condemn the scourge, promising better policing.
As the community pleads for improved policing, Community Safety MEC Faith Mazibuko is urging them not to take matters into their own hands.
“If they find a culprit or do citizen’s arrest they must not resort to beating up or killing the person,” Mazibuko said.
“They must find a way to call the police and the police must then arrest that person.”
The religious and spiritual leaders are hoping to provide a light against the darkness that encroaches on this community.
