Power restored in Tshwane

Power has been restored in Pretoria following a massive power outage on Tuesday.

Earlier, the city was flooded with heavy traffic after parts of Pretoria were without electricity due to a 132kV trip at the Njala substation.

Technicians were deployed to investigate the untimely black-out and have since managed to remedy the situation.

Executive Mayor, Stevens Mokgalapa was on-site at 12:00 to check on the progress made and he assured residents that all power would be back on by 14:00.

The city is appealing to residents who are still without power to report it so that technicians can be dispatched.
