Eskom suspends power cuts until further notice

Due to improved generation capacity and lower demand,

Eskom has suspended power cuts until further notice.

The power utility says it will communicate immediately when any significant changes occur.

The county’s electricity grid has been under severe stress due to ailing infrastructure, breakdowns, repairs, and greater demand as temperatures plummet.

Due to improved generation capacity and lower demand, Loadshedding was suspended today at 11:40 until further notice. Eskom will communicate immediately when any significant changes occurs.
