Joburg faces constant power cuts

The power’s been going out all over Johannesburg this past week.

Affected communities include Newlands, Coronationville, and Devland in Soweto,

City Power says it’s becoming increasingly difficult to police and secure mini-substations.

Cable theft and illegal connections cost the city R3.6-billion a year.
