Post Malone reacts to performing at Super Bowl

Post Malone opened up about the anxiety he was feeling ahead of Super Bowl LVIII during The One Party by Uber, which was held at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas on Friday night.

According to Us Weekly, the 28-year-old hitmaker, who is set to sing America The Beautiful at the upcoming sporting event, admitted to feeling ‘scared s***less’ while performing for the event’s attendees.

The performer – who recently had one of his songs certified as ‘double-diamond’ – then stated that he was grateful for the support of the fans who had shown him their love during his performance. Post Malone remarked: ‘I just want to say thank you all so much for having me tonight. Thank you for being kind to me.’

The Better Now rapper added: ‘I wish I was invited to this party. I hope everybody is having a bada** f***ing nightThe performer, born Austin Post, then sent a shout-out to ‘all my Cowboy fans,’ which was met with some boos from the audience.

It was initially revealed that Post Malone had been contacted to sing America The Beautiful at the upcoming Super Bowl this past January.

The song was performed by Babyface during last year’s Super Bowl, which took place in Glendale, Arizona. The rapper will also be joined by Reba McEntire, who will sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the event.

Andra Day is set to perform Lift Every Voice And Sing prior to the start of the annual game. This year’s halftime show will feature Usher, who will present a 15-minute medley of several of his past hits.

Post Malone also spoke about his fear ahead of the game during Apple Music’s Super Bowl 2024 halftime show press conference, which was held in Las Vegas on Thursday.
