Pop Smoke’s Grave Vandalised – Cascade Dragged Out

Pop Smoke’s final resting place in Brooklyn was found destroyed Saturday in an apparent act of vandalism.

Debris was strewn about the mausoleum at Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery after the marble headstone of the rapper, engraved with his name, was smashed in the violent act.

The 20-year-old rising star, who was born Bashar Barakah Jackson, was gunned down in a Los Angeles home-invasion robbery in February 2020. Four people, two men and two teens, were later arrested and charged with the fatal shooting.

The rapper’s given name was still visible on the broken marble slab in the mausoleum, photos obtained by TMZ showed. Flowers, shattered stone and what appeared to be used joints could be seen on the floor.

Green-Wood spokesman Jeff Simmons told The Post, “An incident of vandalism took place on our grounds early Saturday. We immediately notified the authorities and are in touch with the family. Given the ongoing investigation, we cannot comment further at this time.”
