Ugu District farmers count their losses due to poor water quality

The poor quality of water in the country has spread to the Ugu district municipality, in KwaZulu Natal.

Farmers there complain that their livestock and crops are dying, due to a contaminated water supply.

Some farms have had to close, leaving workers without any means to support their families.
