Mmusi Maimane against poll postponement

Local government elections should proceed, that’s according to One SA Movement’s Chief Activist, Mmusi Maimane.

Maimane says a delay will affect officials being held accountable for poor governance in local government.

An inquiry found that municipal elections will not be free and fair if held in October.

However, Maimane disagrees.
