The African National Congress (ANC) top officials are expected to visit the troubled KwaZulu-Natal province on Monday following the murders of two political leaders over the weekend.
ANC activist Musawenkosi Mchunu was killed in front of his family in Pietermaritzburg and IFP councillor Sibuyiselo Dlamini was shot dead in Ulundi on Friday.
These incidents happened just a few days after another ANC activist was killed in the province.
The party’s leadership is expected, among other things, to discuss the political killings.
The meeting is also likely to focus on preparations and the state of readiness for the upcoming provincial conference.
