Police take clampdown to Mamelodi

The South African Police Service is taking the Okae Molao Operation to Mamelodi on Saturday evening.

Gauteng police boss Elias Mawela is heading up the operation, together with Mpumalanga commissioner Daphney Manamela.

The operation is aimed at rooting out criminal elements in communities and cracking the whip on those found breaking the law.

In other news – DJ Zinhle’s employee arrested for stealing

Africa’s number 1 female DJ and businesswoman DJ Zinhle has had another unfortunate encounter with an employee who’s allegedly stolen from her.

According to a police report seen by the publication, the Umlilo hitmaker caught an employee from her Era By DJ Zinhle store in Menlyn, Tshwane stealing from her. The employee is accused of stealing items worth R96 000. She was arrested on 12 January and appeared at the Pretoria Magistrates Court. Learn More
