Four police officers are expected in court on Thursday on house robbery charges.
The robbery was at the home of a foreign national in Llandudno on 14 September.
On the same day, a 44-year-old sergeant was arrested in Belhar, and a 28-year-old constable was apprehended at Gugulethu Police Station.
Further investigations led to the arrest of a 33-year-old sergeant at the Bellville Police Station days later.
The police’s Frederick Van Wyk said: “Anti-Corruption Unit members arrested a 38-year-old sergeant at Philippi police after the member was linked through fingerprints found at the crime scene.
“The member was detained at Wynberg police cells, and he is due to appear at Wynberg Magistrates Court on the third of October with the other three members arrested earlier.”
