Police launch manhunt following deadly tavern shooting

At least one person was killed and 15 others injured in a tavern shooting in KaNyamazane outside Mbombela in Mpumalanga. Police have launched a manhunt for two people suspected to be involved in the shooting incident.

Provincial police spokesperson Donald Mdhluli says police are investigating a case of murder and multiple counts of attempted murder. It is still unknown what triggered the shooting.

SABC1’s popular telenovela Uzalo has confirmed the departure of two prominent actors from its cast. Wiseman Mncube, known for his portrayal of Sibonelo, and Nkanyiso Mchunu, who joined the show in 2022 as Siphamandla “Wizard” Nkosi, are set to bid farewell to Uzalo, an announcement that has left fans sad.
