The Video Entertainment segment of Naspers is a broad-based multinational media group headquartered in South Africa and Dubai with principal operations in pay television and video entertainment. An African platform operator, Video Entertainment’s expertise lies distributing media products, creating media content and selling advertising. Its key areas of operations are:
Pay Television: direct-to-home satellite and digital terrestrial television services; and
SVOD: subscription video on demand services across multiple online platforms with a focus on library and local content in developing markets

Purpose of the Position:
Define, Set-Up, Manage and Run the PMO Governance and Compliance department for DMS
Key Performance Outputs
Tasks
Customer Relationship
Identify project stakeholders, communicate their roles, define level of participation in project, map their communication needs and manage stakeholder engagement strategies through the project plan
Manage each stakeholder group actively through the change cycle
Manage the business change impact across process, systems and technology
Understand roles, behaviours and operations and define strategies in the project schedule
Coach customers and management where processes and systems are changed
Ensure the change management process is led and supported together with the customer
Capture client needs accurately in scope and ensure sign off by stakeholders
Ensure satisfactory post implementation review by obtaining final sign-off from customers
Process and Outcomes
Manage delivery of small projects according to recognised industry Project Management methodology
Conduct effective resource negotiation and allocation by providing advise on project resource requirements, capacity and risk
Ensure compliance to procedures, policies and guidelines
Identify obstacles and escalate deviations from project through formal project governance channels
Direct and coordinate activities and monitor delivery of resources deployed to the project
Manage project resource performance together with the line manager
Manage project performance review with senior project mentors
Monitor project performance and mitigate all project risk by ensuring effective project governance structures are established and effectively managed
Ensure the facilitation of Project Management Forums’ Sessions under guidance of mentor

Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending sessions.
Understand and embrace the MCG vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers
Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed, experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.

Experience
2-3 years’ relevant experience in Managing Technical programs and projects
Solid and proactive Stakeholder management skills
Track record of defining and managing the PMO Governance
Identify reporting KPI’s and translate them into measurable data for strategy reporting
