Pitch Black Afro murder case postponed

Pitch Black Afro murder case postponed. Rapper Pitch Black Afro appeared in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court court on Tuesday, where his case was postponed until January 18. The rapper has been charged with premeditated murder and defeating the ends of justice.
The case was previously postponed pending verification of the rapper’s address. It has been postponed again as this verification has not yet taken place, with the state saying it will interview the rapper’s aunt, who lives at the address.
The Sowetan has reported that Ngcobo is attempting to get legal aid as he can’t afford a lawyer.
Last week the rapper, real name Thulani Ngcobo, was charged with premeditated murder and defeating the ends of justice at the Hillbrow Magistrate Court.
The rapper’s wife, Catherine ‘Trisha’ Modusane, was found dead on December 31, with her death initially thought to be of natural causes, only for a murder case to be opened last week Wednesday.
According to the publication, the rapper appeared to be in a good mood at his first court appearance. He handed his manager Bheki Mlambo a letter, telling him to “keep it safe for her”. The contents are, at this point, unknown.
His court appearance brought to end speculation surrounding whether or not it was indeed the rapper who had been arrested for the murder of his wife. Some media reports had named the rapper prior to his first appearance.
