At 15H32 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of King Edward Road and New England Road in Scottsville Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained minor injuries.
Once treated the patients were transported by another ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.
