We are looking to hire energetic picker and packer to assist in the preparation of orders for shipment in the east rand Kempton park. The successful candidate will ensure to check containers for damage and confirm correct items and quantities and selected them. To ensure success in this position you need to perform to a high level of accuracy, Top candidate will be outstanding in organized and able to perform under pressure.
Picker and Packer Responsibilities
Assist in the maintaining security of the warehouse
Comply to safety regulations
Assist in the loading and offload truck by the use of jacks, totes, and forklift
Place containers on pallets and secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping
Ensure working area are kept clean and organized
Pack incoming stock away, taking inventory and report shortages
Keep an outgoing and incoming record of shipments
pick orders as requested by management
Seal, mark and tagging container, confirming the accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
Ensure correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders ti shopping area
Picker and Packer Requirements
Grade 8-12
Minimum experience 0-3 years
Physically able
