· Responsibilities

. Ensure stock is handled with the utmost care

· Continuously check incoming pick ticket and follow up on requests

· Ensure that stock rotation is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures

· Correct and accurate picking of products against picking slips

· Ensure effective wrapping of the product as per company process and procedure

· Packing of stock into correct areas and ensure that stock is submitted to correct dispatch area

· Ensuring that all stock is correctly and neatly located

· Assist with unloading of containers

· Ensure that stock is stored in the correct location

· Adhere to housekeeping rules

· Perform other adhoc duties as and when required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Grade 12/ Matric

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

· Previous working experience as a Warehouse Assistant/ Picker within the FMCG or similar environment.

· Forklift driver / Truck driver license- advantageous

· Must be a team player

· Problem-solving skills

· Time management skills

· Willing to work in a highly pressurized environment
