Peter Mokaba was not like the youth we see today – President Ramaphosa
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says ANC Youth League members should model themselves after Peter Mokaba, the late ANC youth league leader and struggle stalwart.
The president chastised youth leadership for their lack of discipline.
This after his keynote address was delayed by battles over accreditation.
The president eventually spoke outside the Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane.
Ramaphosa said he’s inspired by some of the proposals being made by youth in Limpopo to tackle unemployment and skills shortages.
He also said ANCYL members should be at the forefront of free education.
