Gauteng: At 20H14 Saturday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M1 near the near Gold Reef City.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male pedestrian was struck down by a mini-bus taxi while crossing the road.
When medics arrived on the scene they found the patient in a serious condition.
The patient was treated on the scene and once stabilised were transported Netcare 911 ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

More than 300 people have died from the coronavirus in the past 24-hour cycle, pushing South Africa’s cumulative death toll past 10,000.
