Pedestrian killed on South Road

Gauteng: At 20H42 Friday night, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on South Road, just before Bowling Road in Sandown Johannesburg.

Reports indicate that an adult male, pushing a trolley with recyclable materials on the road, was struck down by a light motor vehicle.

Medics assessed the patient and found that he showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.

The driver of the car was not injured.
