Scammer almost got Pearl Thusi

Pearl Thusi recently shared on Twitter about how she almost got scammed on WhatsApp by someone pretending to be DJ Sbu.

In a funny tweet, the ex Quantico actress shares “Someone just tried to scam me using DJ Sbu’s phone… Then they blocked me…”

The actress was also not afraid to spill all the tea and share all the details by posting the evidence in a series of screenshots of the interaction between her and this stranger.

In their conversation, the person proceeds to use incorrectly structured sentences while consulting with Pearl why the actress didn’t sign up for the Motsepe Easter Festival. The chancer further went on to ask for “Miss Lira’s digits” which was an obvious reference to talented songstress Lira.

In an attempt to get the actress to “register” for the festival, Pearl was told she would need to pay a registration fee of R4790. Yikes! Talk about taking chances.

When Pearl proceeded to question the need for paying a registration fee, the conman decided that this conversation was getting a little too heated for them and decided to block the actress who has flat out called them out on their BS.

It is scary to see the lengths people are willing to go to get money out of other people.
