Pearl Modiadie advises Women to work hard

Pearl Modiadie is encouraging the ladies to get their own! The award-winning television host took to Twitter to advise all the ladies to “please work hard at being self sufficient and financially independent” because mos #SebenzaGirl . The media personality has had her fair share of setbacks as a result of a failed relationship, so surely her words of advice must hold some weight.

Pearl Modiadie‘s split from ex-fiance Nkululeko Buthelezi in 2018 changed her plans in a major way. In May this year, Pearl revealed that she even had to cancel a property purchase and move in with her sister’s family for a while.

“I was heartbroken this time last year. There was a change of plans in my love life & we had to cancel a property purchase. I moved in with my sister’s family for a week then lived in a hotel for a couple of months.

I move into my home in less than a month. Setbacks are temporary”, she wrote. Miss Modiadie has since found new love and is now happier and wiser than ever!

While the world was stanning over the MTV VMAs this week, little did we know our very own Lasizwe jetted off to the city dreams are made of, LA. Talking to TshisaLIVE about his experience at the awards, the reality TV star said he was inspired by a performance from singer Lizzo and could relate.

He said he loved the way Lizzo embraced her big body and was not shy to flaunt it.
