Job Type: Full-time

Control tasks within the Payroll department, processing of payroll, and all tasks related to payroll processing.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 12
  • Certificate in Payroll Administration

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years of payroll administration experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Ensure accurate processing of payroll data.
  • Record and track paid leave for terminated employees.
  • Identify and resolve unusual or incorrect payroll movements.
  • Manage Bank Change Requests.
  • Assisting HR and Management with specialised payroll calculations and explanations
  • Verify processed payroll information for accuracy.
  • Handle garnishee (Court Orders) and Maintenance orders
  • Export, confirm, and submit standardised payment schedules and reports.
  • Issue payslips, IRP5s, and necessary attachments as required.
  • Attend to and timeously resolve payroll-related inquiries.
  • Conduct basic tax and net payment calculations.
  • Administer office supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain and update employee files and ensure that all mandatory documents are filed
  • Process account payments.
  • Responsible for processing of weekly wage.
  • Preparing final schedules.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES

  • Microsoft Office
  • Strong Excel skills essential
  • Knowledge of SAP is essential
  • Other Payroll related systems i.e., SARS
  • Numerical acumen
