Parents need to participate in SGBs, says SADTU

The South African Democratic Teachers Union says parents need to join school governing bodies in order to help safeguard pupils.

The union’s Xolani Fakude says the violence currently plaguing them is another pandemic on its own.

A grade 11 pupil was stabbed to death at Qalabotjha Secondary School in Vlakfontein on Thursday.
