Panyaza Lesufi postpones visit to Soweto

Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi has postponed a visit to Soweto after this weekend’s protests.

Calm has been restored after residents disrupted the voter registration drive.

They are demanding that electricity be restored before they register.

Some communities say they’ve not had electricity for over nine months.

Lesufi was expected to address these concerns.
