Cassper Nyovest sued over unpaid royalties

DJ Sumbody has allegedly sued Cassper Nyovest of R147 000 over unpaid royalties. The news was made known by entertainment commentator, Musa Khawula through his Twitter. According to him, Sumbody is demanding payment from Cassper after their song, ‘Remote Control’ was used in a Samsung advert.

This track was released and listed as the 6th track of his studio album titled, Sweet And Short, released in the year, 2018. It was also reported that the Samsung contract was worth R5 million.

Well, Cassper is yet to respond to the allegations but many of their fans are waiting patiently for his response.
