Security guard shot outside school

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H20 Tuesday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting on Sibis Road in Hammarsdale, West of Durban.
Reports indicate that a security guard was shot twice in both lower limbs by an unknown group of men walking past the school he was guarding.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found that the patient, a 32-year-old male, had sustained moderate injuries.
The patient was treated on scene by Netcare 911 emergency care practitioners and once stabilized was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance to the hospital for further care.
According to the guard, the assailants fled back into the bush following the shooting.
