OUTA says separate investigation into Prasa needed

The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) says a separate investigation into the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa is needed. OUTA says the railway agency is critical for commuting.

Last week, Chief Justice Raymond Zondo handed over the final state capture report to President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The report recommends that a number of top Prasa officials and former board members be investigated, including former CEO Lucky Montana.

“It’s just so sad that we are in this position and it’s important that we look at the recommendations that come out of the Zondo report,” OUTA’s Wayne Duvenage said.
They need to be fleshed out and it does mean a separate investigation because Prasa is critical when it comes to commuting, and getting people to and from work. It’s so sad to see Prasa in this state.. there is no direction and it’s diabolical.
