Alleged kidnapping kingpin linked to other cases

An alleged kidnapping kingpin, arrested in Lenasia, has been linked to at least two other recent hostage cases.
This after the Crime Intelligence National Anti-kidnapping Task Team made yet another breakthrough.
A businessman kidnapped days earlier was freed. While six suspects now find themselves behind bars.
The task team seized more than R5 million in cash, Firearms including pistols, And an AK-47 rifle.
And numerous electronic devices.
The publication now understands that the name of the alleged kingpin was first picked up, when the task team freed the son of Mozambican businessman Salimo Abdula, from a flat in Heidelberg.
Sources close to the case say the man’s name surfaced again when tobacco dealer Yaseen Bhiku was snatched from outside a mosque in January.
He was rescued by the task team a month later.
And this is not the suspect’s first run-in with the law.
The six suspects are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
