An exciting opportunity has become available in our warehouse. The purpose of the Picker is to work in production and warehouse facilities where they pick materials and deliver them to a loading dock. Their job description entails picking, wrapping, and moving products to fill individual customer orders.
Key Job Functions
· Execution of all picking and the completion thereof.
· Computer knowledge required
· Ensure how to operate a pallet jack.
· Assemble stock correctly on a pallet.
· Understanding the Lots
· Ensure to pick by batch.
· Understanding of WMS procedures on scanners and picking processes with various options.
· Report all discrepancies found during picking( short stock, damages)
· Basic knowledge of quality assurance.
· Assist in knowledge transfer to new order pickers
· Assist in stock count/ pick face/Bulk
· General assembling orders
Knowledge and Experience Required
Matric / Grade 12
Basic mathematical skills
Experience on WMS would be advantageous
Experience in FMCG / Food industry would be an advantage.
Very high level of attention to detail
