Suspect arrested for murder of two Orange Farm children

A suspect has been arrested for the murders of two children in Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg.

The suspect will appear in the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Last week, the bodies of eight-year-old Mpho Makondo and six-year-old Simphiwe Mncina were found by a passerby after they went missing.

Their deaths sparked outrage with residents protesting and marching to the local police station.

The two best friends were laid to rest last weekend.
